                      Glad to see everyone can judge a managers capability without even having a conversation with him face to face or watching his training sessions. Why has almost no fan of a football club who has never played the game gone on to have a successful management career in football ????

                      Yes he isn't the most exciting prospect and not one of the top managers in the country but we are almost the smallest club in the championship, get a grip everyone. Allardyce, Warburton, Rowett, Clement would be foolish to come to us and unrealistic so who does that leave us with ?

                            Thought this worth resurrecting a few weeks on as there are some interesting comments pro and against - passion, who else was there, Hall in midfield and, most worrying of all with Jan window looming, remembering Brett Angell.
