When you think for a small club there's some pretty big names there, and I'm sure most would take it given the chance

We heard so often over the past few weeks that despite the poor record, JFH had not lost "the dressing room". Well, he HAD lost the fans. So IMHO, this decision between Sherwood and Clement (both of whom have solid credentials) if close should default to whom the fans can truly rally around. By many accounts, as much as Les and Ramsey are smitten with Sherwood, the fans are not. While I agree both significantly better than JFH, it's Clement for me. The buddy-buddy days in the management suite are over.

Ted... no one would call Sherwood an introvert and neither are completely useless. Olly's recent managerial form on the other hand has been pretty useless, Harry hasn't motivated anyone except his bank manager for years and you won't see the football we all crave under Sam.

If we could have Clement we should go for him! One of my mates is a big Bayern Munich fan and says he does so much for the club regarding the way they play. He seem to have a big knowledge of how to play football and how to play/prepare your team. We don't have the team for promotion but certainly a team for the top 10 if the right manager (who knows how to handle our players) is in charge and that would be Clement imo.

No logic in that whatsoever. You talk like these two have a wealth of management experience. Let's see, Sherwood a few months at Spurs and a few #### poor months at Villa, and Clement a few months at Derby. Both have failed to produce or meet expectations.

If they don't fall in the "Apprentice" bracket as you put it, I don't know who would...

WOOOSH.. my post went right over your head, hey del..... 'lets see', I said it would be 'risky' if one of these 2 (TS or PC) become our next manager. And thats based on thier managerial background - Personally Id like to see someone with more experience.....

Also the "apprentice" remark was 'ONLY' aimed at CR and JFH.
