        • Why wouldn't Sir Les be our DOF-Manager? We would save money for a new centre forward.

          • Where one manager might fail another may succeed. So many factors as to why. Those factors become more reliable the more experience is brought in, at least in the short term, hence why Big Sam would probably be good for a while, just as Warnock has been.

JFH found a decent set of circumstances at Burton, perhaps left in place by the previous manager....but for whatever reason couldn't make that work here, and lacked the nouse to adapt for quick results or an attarctive playing style, while his master plan (if he had one) took fruition. Mark Hughes, we would've been better off with kermit the frog than him results wise, despite keeping us up the first season. But at Stoke, after a shady start, now has the second best form in the Premier League. Pearson, Dyche, Pardew, Ferguson, Mourinho, Wenger, Freedman, Clarke, Holloway....doesn't matter who you mention there have been moments of success and failure.

What QPR and fans have to do is understand that it's a roll of the dice whoever they get, and decide on how much risk they are happy to take on.

All obvious, but the big thing is that as fans we take too much of that at face value, and look to the management to fix any problems quickly. Well with alot of staff and players that's going to take time, unless you get that silver bullet guy, maybe even the guy that can maintain it.

Personally i think they had the right idea in Hughes, despite the fact we went to sh1te after Warnock was let go, the idea was solid, build the club. It failed due to whatever factors occuring. Right now we are just flopping from chancer to chancer looking for someone to fix it.

We need to keep doing that until the right chap comes along, and we won't know who it is till it happens.

If Clement is in, take a chance, as the risk factor is the biggest, which makes no sense, but there you are.

Tactics to get fools parting with their money. I wouldn't trust a bookie as far as I could spit them.
