What where your views. I always thought he was a handful but rarely gets a mention when we speak about strikers down the years

What are others views of him

Loved him. Scored some cracking volleys too, some proper memorable goals. Think we were spoilt with sir les but falco was a good player. Having said that given time ago and my age at time, memory of his all round play is limited!

From what I saw of him on telly, he was a matchwinner who scored some spectacular goals for us.

Falco bit of a lump, but with one hell of a dig on him.

Down wormholt park, if you scored a good volley, it was called a 'falco' or a 'whelan'... Says it all for my era

I remember him playing up front with Trevor Francis, both quality (especially Trevor) but both had no pace

Great finisher was Falco just a bit on the slow side. Still quality back in the day

                        I always liked him.

I remember being at Highbury on my birthday one year and he put us 1 up, as an ex Tottenham player you could see just how much it meant to him, but Arsenal scored 2 late goals to win 2-1 and ruin my day.

Il never forget as we were locked in after the game whilst the home fans left the ground they played that song "don't worry be happy". Saucy cants
