If you like real ale there is a great pub next to the station called the Sheffield Tap which we usually pop in to as they do great home made scotch eggs and sausage rolls etc which go down great with a couple of pints but we usually head for a nice seedy flat roof pub called the Penny Black which does ice cold carling and free pie and pease with every 5th pint you buyOriginally posted by West London is Rss View Post

For all you optimistic supporters heading up to Sheffield next week - we have a pub in Sheffield, the Hillsborough Hotel, that's on the tram route to the ground if you fancy a few beers in a very Qpr friendly pub - has to be as I'm the landlady and a Qpr season ticket holder!Comment

Nice one mate, there is this request as well.
I know you're making a long journey to Sheffield on Saturday but Sheffield Wednesday lost one of their greatest and long life supporters last week and is funeral was today. He was 69 years old. Sheffield Wednesday supporters are making a tribute to Mick on Saturday when we play QPR at Hillsborough and we would like QPR supporters to join in this tribute on the 69th minute. The football club have confirmed his photo will be displayed on the scoreboard on the 69th minute.
We at Sheffield Wednesday would be very grateful for your support in joining us in this tribute.
