Puncheon shouldn't of been fined for his outrageous comment he should of been banned playing football for 2 years. It's an outrageous thing to say in this current climate and a 15,000 pound fine just encourages it too happen again
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Didn't Wally Downes make a similar accusation too.

Very very common "rumour" with Warnock. I recall it being mentioned by a few on here at one point that Clint was giving him a cut of his appearance fee which seemed odd as, at the time, he was being brought on in the 85th minute a lot.

Why is it outrageous? What's so unbelievable about it? Love Warnock but there's every chance this could be true.

He couldn't have been banned without an investigation into whether his allegation was true or not. I imagine without a doubt it was which is why Warnock hasn't sued. Plus the FA probably would be aware of these morally wrong deals and wouldn't want to drag so many managers names out there and have another big scandal.

Its clearly true but I doubt it could be proven, so Puncheon should've dragged over the coals for making accusations in the public domain without any proof.

If there's an investigation into this I can see all sorts being unearthed.

There would have been proof if other players had come forward, but never likely to happen as they would have all been seen to be in it together, defrauding their clubs. Do you think Hill's going to say anything? I can just imagine the chat Warno may have had with Puncheon, 'keep it quiet or we'll all go down together.'
