I'd happily sacrifice boring football (that we're currently getting) in the championship for boring football in the prem.

Not sure the likes of Newcastle, Huddersfield etc would be keen on being offered up as the sacrifice

I'd take Pulis, but then in my opinion 3pts are paramount, doesn't matter how you get them. An unbeaten season playing boring football is still an unbeaten season right? I know most on here want to be entertained, which is fair enough, but I'd pick a boring 1-0 win over a very exciting 3-3 draw or a loss where we dominate a game every single time.
Not a massive fan of Pulis though. Not sure who else is available, wouldn't mind us looking abroad though. Jokanovic did well with Watford and isn't doing bad at Fulham, Middlesbrough struck gold with Aitor Karanka, Wagner is doing the business with Huddersfield. Someone like them, an unknown quantity.

A while back I would of loved Pulis here but by all accounts West Brom fans are sick to the back teeth of his style of football, negative defensive football where the midfield is stacked with holding type centre mids. 2 or 3 games without a win with us and the usual moaners and boo boys would want him out saying his style of football is sh it.

A fortunate 2-1 win over Fulham hasn't restored my faith in jfh but for the time being we may as well stick with him and just see if he can turn things around.

Give Jimmy a break. He aint had a chance to play our strongest team yet. With the squad we have, fully fit, I really think we are capable of top 10.
We have the 2nd best away record in the division from our chopping and changing team !! Our home form has gotta improve sooner then later.
As for the question. Yes Pulis cos your offering premiership football long ball or not cos its a winning buisness.

I'd rather stay in the Championship, making the play-offs and losing, We would have made the play-offs by playing attacking exciting football.
I hate the Prem with a vengeance it has ruined the game no end.

He is never going to have a fully fit team. That's not the way it works. There will always be somebody who is injured. Our home form has been terrible (apart from Leeds) and that needs to change quickly and with the team he has at his disposal.

Our season under HR was pretty boring generally but it got us promotion and a brilliant ending. I'd take that over the current set up, we are too inconsistent.

I had a look at TP's career, for someone with his rep I'm surprised he has only managed 2 promotions in his career - at Gillingham and Stoke. Even in the lower leagues, he seemed to specialise in keeping teams up.

For a Pulis long ball team in the premier league.
Well this we ain't doing this, football isn't good, so it cant get worse under Pulis, so for me yes I'd have Pulis over JFH

Not necessarily the case. There could be a notice period withing the rolling contract e.g. three months and therfore he would get three months money.
There are different types of rolling contracts and I doubt anyone on this board is familiar with JFHs actual contract terms.

I agree with vesps on this. Surely we wanted to be entertained. That's why I wanted to keep a fat lazy waste of space because I knew adel would never be replaced as these type of players are rare
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Quite happy to be entertained in any league........I personally have no particular desire for us to get back to the most over hyped and over rated league ever.
