The club knew the Telegraph had no obligation to release anything, unless the authorities asked for details.

The club are banking on the fact that the story dies a slow death. They ignore that what we already have is evidence that our '100% committed' boss is prepared to swan off in term time at the behest of the highest bidder.

That was on here earlier and club statement was updated as such too but apparently Telegraph will provide full details to the FA as a central point. Clubs hands are tied on this, they cannot sack him based on what they currently had or he would sue for unfair dismissal at this point. They can only fire him based on results but doing that now would also be foolish and leave themselves wide open. It is only a matter of time but club are not in the wrong here, they are actually doing the right thing, whatever our opinions of JFH are.

They can suspend him on full pay; what's euphemistically called gardening leave.

Hoos said that they could not suspend him because it did not concern anything he had done in the past or present but a conflict of interest which was projected in the future.

You can do anything if you want to in such a case........ it would also put pressure on the Telegraph in regard to the presently stalled investigation.

Absolutely, if the club felt it was in their best interests for Jimmy not to be at the game tomorrow then they could 100% suspend him without any fear of repercussions. I think what is closer to the truth is Jimmy fessed up about all this before the newspaper stories, gave them a sob story and negotiated a "fair hearing".

The club obviously came out in his support minutes after the article hit, have made there stance known that they won't make any final decisions until they have seen the full video and transcript and are sticking by their guns. I kind of get it but it isn't the right move in my opinion.

That's a perennial problem in football , we have to cultivate a system weeding out budding young manager for future growth in the ground tho 77

                      • That's F*(ked that be cause he would've definitely been sacked after our usual dismal display at Fulham on results alone, now it looks like we'll have to stick with him due to him being able to say he was sacked for the wrong reasons?

Not if we make our feelings known tomorrow. Any planks cheering him will mean we'll be stuck with him. We need rid of him.

But they could and should have suspended him pending. That would have been normal business practice.

                            • What I cannot get is why QPR? Why JFH? Was the Telegraph had any suspects on any wrong doings? Was JFH suspected of making any wrongdoings? NO. They just 'tricked' him into this and its totally unfair. There are many more football clubs and Managers. Wht they chosen QPR and JFH? They must hate the club!
