We have a success story, Grant Hall, released by Spurs, he is the best defender we have in my opinion. But it isn't gonna happen with every reject we take.

But that's not the same at all though is it. Spurs are a much better side than us, could've won the prem last year and they have a load of good players, hence someone not making it there could quite easily still be an improvement for a championship side.

The two mentioned have been rejected by Bolton who are a division below us, and Rangers who have been slumming it in the lower divisions of the pub league for years now. The point was if they don't want to keep them and they are worse teams then us, logic would suggest they wouldn't improve us.

Not sure why some are taking my point out of context.
