    Sure many of us older ones have great memories of this special lady

        Did t make many like Daphne , can remember her rounding us all up at Euston before an awayday on those 80,s rattlers..

          Remember all the older lot singing " Daphne`s boys ,Daphne`s boys ,Daphne`s boys " at all us 12/13 year olds at Norwich away ( i think ) in the early 80s

            Can still see her face can still hear her voice...the specials in the late 70's early 80's could get a bit rowdy and noisy but just a stare and a word from Daphne would put us naughty grove boys in our place.... loved by all who travelled with her on the specials and coaches back in the day when you could leave your beer on the rattler for the journey home that would'nt happen now she'll never be forgotten god bless her.

                I still remember those specials quite clearly. There were a couple of blokes who used to 'police' us as well, Both quite big with moustaches from what I recall.
