Didnt see this mentioned on here anywhere , but Nedium got given that goal against Leeds by the dubious goals committee
So his goal scoring record this season is 1 in 2 as well. Ha.

Granted, his title comes across as provocative, but most of the actual content of his OP is fair comment IMO.

But that's where I disagree. There were loads of examples in the 1st half v Cardiff where he clearly showed his limitations as a RB, and in stark contrast to Bidwell on the other flank.

I don't think they have consistently. And before Perch the only decent RB we had was Simpson in that time, but HR stupidly sold him. So again, you can argue that we've been weak in that department for a long time.

Stan if Perch was at RB same questions and threads would be being asked. He was in the team of the week for first game. Is he best RB in the world no not even close however does he do a job for us there yes.

Are there many more RB in division better I would argue not

I disagree mate but it's about opinions as always, and what forums are all about. The beauty of the game is we all see things differently.

Absolutely nuts that people are slagging off someone for having a (valid) opinion.

It is true Ned is not best deployed as a RB but can do a decent job as shown this season. OP is asking is Ned ahead of Perch/Furlong in the pecking order solely because he's Captain..... You may agree or disagree but it's certainly worthy of debate not scorn.

                  I saw this too.

Now i understand that where possible they try not to credit an OG as it pleases no1, but in this instance, the ball didnt even touch Ned! Madness really.

Sure he is ahead in the pecking order because he is the captain BUT he is the captain for a reason in JFH mind.
Also he is not a bad RB and as it stands the team has won two league games without conceding and I think our captain has a goal and and an assist which is not bad for a RB.
I have a question for the OP and others in here doubting him - would you change the defense for the game tonight?

I completely agree, think Ned is defo worth his place ahead of Perch right now. Long may his good form continue.

Never change a winning team (injury aside)

There was no negativity intended in opening this thread.

Ned is a solid performer at this level in his chosen position, at right back, he has limitations but yes I agree certainly adequate.

All was suggesting that perhaps he ahead of Perch simply because of the armband.

If the rumours about Perch are correct, he could be moved on, then I understand the choice of Ned at right back, because it's likely this season he will play there several times.

And with our current starting centre backs agreed he should not be first choice as things are atm.

I am sure anyhow Jimmy has a right back on the radar because squad wise atm, it is probably the weakest position.

Not knocking him at all, just was at the Cardiff game and first half had a habit drifting into the middle whilst their winger was played in a few times with acres of space. Just think as first and only real choice this season think it is unwise, ie we must sign specialist right back before end of transfer window and sure we will also.

But yes obviously absolutely delighted like anyone else with the start and of course Ned has always been a reasonably solid option in the team when tried out.

Anyhow is being a captain that important in football anyhow, more like an honour than anything vitally important in my view. Who would be in charge if he not in the team. Think Warnock gave it to taraabt to massage his ego and it worked.

All well and good though. Not knocking the guy as some on here saying though.

Just considering the whole 46 game season, which sure JFH has on his radar anyhow.

What do I know anyway !!!!!!!
