It's actually amazing the press coverage and general all round hysteria this death has caused. Biggest death ever and only equalled by Elvis, John Lennon, Lady Di and Jade Goody in my lifetime, and to think it was so long ago he was a fighter. Shows how good he actually was and how respected as well.

a bit late to this thread, but RIP Ali.
cant believe some of the young kids these days don't know who he is. I'm 27 and I've heard all the legends.

defeating Sonny Liston, when Ali was a 7/1 underdog has to be rated as one of the best boxing wins of all time.
