Spoke to a couple of mates who went tonight. They were sick that we hadn't won that. On top from the first whistle to the last bar a dodgy 5-10 mins at the end of the first half. Defence and keeper lost concentration once all game and it happened to be the goal. No one played badly, Polter and Lumley were excellent.

Sadly it won't stop the realism brigade with their campaign to sack the manager yet again.

You should always take positives out of negatives and negatives out of positives. Unless you analyse nothing improves.

you just knew we would concede a goal? I'm still not positive we could keep a clean sheet,

i thought hoilett had yet another good game. if any club is noticing, and LF is willing to sell (which according to the WLS article he is) then surely his price is being buoyed up.

                          that's a positive

also Leroy and Matty ran much more yesterday imo. so heres to hoping that it was just a fatigue/fitness thing from all the games over the xmas period.

Philips specifically was sprinting back on counters when others were looking for an option to play thru. id been really negative toward Fer and Philips recently, especially Fer (who I thought could've still put a wee bit more effort in last night)

                            but, yay, another positive

Looked like obstructing the goalie to me.
