      RIP
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

When you think of everything that man did for the game, it's amazing that people only remember the chin.
RIP, a good innings and a man that made a real difference to the game we all love

Hmmm. Think the game would be better off if we'd never let him scrap the Football League's £20 per week maximum wage in January 1961

strangely enough i remember him as quite a good goalscorer

strangly enough he was quite a prolic goalscorer but knowbody seems to want to give him any credit as a player
but check his wikipedia stats and your be surprised
so rest in peace jimmy hill you brought me a lot of good times whilst i watched stanley gerry and dave thomas destroy other teams
