Going back a bit now, but how about Andrew Davies. Ollie wanted to break the bank to bring him to QPR at a time when we were virtually penniless, which is why he is so memorable. That and the fact he never made it and is apparently now at Ross County!

Neil Danns. We were after him when he was a part of the Warnock team at Crystal Palace. He is now with Bolton.
Darren Ambrose was another, not sure were he is now actually. Both of them were midfielders.QPR
