  • The club defenses system.

It seems that we do have a big problem with how defence methods are being trained and taught at our club. If one have a look on all teams representing the R's, first team, U21 and U18's, they are all conceding goals at a very high proportion. U21 against Leeds a 3-3 draw and should have lost by a big margin. U18 wins against Barnsley 6-4! They also lost 9-2 against Leeds. The first team lost 4-0 last Friday and are conceding goals on regular basis. If you search our goals against columns for all three 3 teams its devastating. And CR attributes the goals on individual errors! There is something wrong with the system currently applied at the R's.

Spot on, and I hope some of the youth coaches we apparently have brought in these days are good at what you are mentioning above.

Its seems so obvious that all three teams representing the R's plays the same system. But it is not working. It was said a while ago that both the youths and the U21 must play the same as the senior team, however the results are there for all to see. Either we do not have the right players to play the way CR wants too, or the players do not want the play this system....or we have some of the most stupid players around as it's so hard for them to learn!

Are we having coaches who are working with the defence at all?
