        No.

Precautionary as in not injured, but not 100% fit either.

IOW he was fit to play, but playing him would have also been a risk, which in his particular case was a risk not worth taking.

That's injured then Stan. Your fit or your not fit

A knock is injured. If only slightly

Yes I accept all that, but the difference is another player with the exact same knock (but without 3 previous ACL ruptures) would have been fit enough to play. Hence the precaution.

Faulin, has to be wrapped in cotton wool, as we all know. Only when he is 100% ready will he be used, unlike other players who can be less than 100% and who need match fitness. That's the gamble with Ale unfortunately.

If & when they're both fit, my preference would be to have Ale & Sandro in the 2 holding roles. The combination of the finesse & bite, respectively, that they bring would be the perfect pairing IMO.

Faurlin was there, saw him outside the ground before the game and he was wearing his football gear, so it could be that the decision not to risk him was last minute.

Ramsey has said himself he was left out as had a slight knock and given his previous injury record we don't want to risk him. Bit of a no story this one, not sure the bloke deserves:

He doesn't deserve that, all I know is that when he plays we play well, when he doesn't we don't play well.I feel he is of massive importance to us this season.
