As I said after a massive 2 games...

Oh yes I often watch the u18s table..l great yardstick for his the youth are doing... Oh hang on a second john stones played for the u21s at Everton.. Thus the u18s didn't have him at the heart of the defence... Reading u18s table is pointless unless you truly understand the context of that clubs youth setup which I dare say no one on here does.

While I applaud my learned friends alertness and valiant attempts to soften the blow with massaged figures and constructive accounting, I must point out that the article quotes that these figures are taken from 2014. This article around the same time quotes similair figures

The updated figures do not assist my learned friends case your honour.

The kind uncles in charge will write it off, just tweet them about it and it's all sorted, maybe you will even get a free match ticket for your troubles.

Here is a report from a purely business perspective NOT from a football fans perspective

                    http://www.insidermedia.com/insider/...ship-club-club

Air Asia tycoon Tony Fernandes and steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal wrote off loans worth £60m during the year, but QPR's accounts nevertheless make for grim reading. After years of overspending, the club's relegation from the Premier League last season means they face a battle to cut costs and Fernandes has signalled that the days of heavy investment on new players is over. (not my words, quoted from a business journalist)

Just as well that the loans were written off.

Keyboard gladiators, dont kill the messenger, please aim your self delusion, hatred and abuse to the writer of the article

Good for you, Ipswich man. Wish we had a board like that
Seriously though, you first sentence is in stark contradiction to your second one. Intelligent, sharp, successful business people are never happy to pour endless millions into a black hole. Something's got to give soon.
