  • Will we keep Austin at least until January?

I'm probably going in against the tide here but, as things stand now, I have become increasingly convinced that he will be staying at QPR at least until the January transfer window.

Think he will be sold in the last week of the transfer window tbh.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

couple of games without a goal for newcastle and ashey will suddenly find an extra £1.5m down the back of his sofa.

Who would pay for him in January when he can start negotiating a free transfer for the end of the season.

flagged that as a poss a while back - thing is, I reckon the Jan window is more of a sellers market.... we should know, we've been turned over as buyers often enough in Jan.

Obviously if the full valuation is met tomorrow then fair enough.

I think keeping Austin now would be the ultimate Litmus test of the improved commitment of the club leadership. Talk is cheap. We need him now more than ever.

Any number of teams in the bottom half of the table, either looking over their shoulder or struggling to stay out of the bottom 3.....

This. Sell now or end of season. Quite simple.

Think he'll be sold after starting the first two games for us.
