No concern, if that happens, we'll get Harry in as a consultant and he can advise us to loan a load of useless unwanted strikers from other clubs like Will Keane..... no bother.

The club should be patient. Wait and see what offers we get for Fer and maybe Phillips. See if Sterling moves to City and what we get for that. See what, if any, FFP fine comes our way. Then make a judgment on offers for Austin.

As we have already taken the youth approach we should be looking to bring in at least 1 forward anyway, whether or not Austin leaves. We have a small squad so a new striker or two plus Austin staying won't break us.

I agree, and think they should back that up by putting a deadline on this so that they can avoid a 'Remy' situation again.

So come on Sir Les,QPR Board get this done so that the club can make some progress on this issue one way or another.

15 mill in today's market for a striker who scored 18 goals in the premier league in a poor squad is more than fair.
We gave Charlie a shot and of no one comes in for him at the price we have set then we keep him.

Would make a lot of sense to do that anyway. We keep him he could be the difference of going back up and secondly we might even have a outside chance of getting him to stay of we can achieve promotion.
I think we finally agree on something.

Need to make some sort of deadline. If he's not gone by Aug 1st he stays till his contract is up. No good waiting till Aug 31st and getting stiffed ala Remy, we need time to get in replacements.

Seems the logical situation to me, hopefully the club will go for it.

With regards to transfers is always best to not believe 95% of any clubs press release.
But the positives are that his goals could win games and keep QPR in the top 2 as they did in 2013/2014.. Maybe this time he doesn't get injured and QPR win automatic promotion back to the Premiership. Also doing this might just be enough to get him to sign a new deal. If not, they say thanks for the promotion and best wishes.

What's the 5% you should believe?

We have already made a profit out of Charlie in terms of promotion and also(unfortunately) the parachute payments, and if he does stay and get us promotion then we wouldn't have lost him for nothing. I think the big thing is that players need to be told that after a certain date you will not be sold, end of. Forget the global transfer window we need to have a QPR window, so you tell Fer, Austin, Phillips we have no problem in you leaving aslong as the offer meets our valuation but after this so so date you will not be sold, because we aren't messing about in the last few days, after the season has started trying to replace you.
It would be beneficial in negotiations as well because for example you tell West Brom now you have untill this date and then we don't care what you offer us we won't sell him. So pressure is on other team and they will either crack and pay up or forget it and ohh well we have Charlie/Remy for another season.

He's in the gym and so are his mates so he sent a tweet to say he will see them soon. He is under contract to us so until anything is sorted surely he would conduct himself as a qpr player

                              Good, don't accept anything less.

If we pocket 10-12M we're just going to get quoted 10M or so for Gestede, Rhodes or another overhyped Championship striker.
