  • TF thinks year 2015 will be great

    Finally he tweets, 16 March 2015:
    With oil price where it is and capacity cut. Airasia will have a great 2015 proving many sceptics wrong.

    The first reply is a bit uncomfortable though.
    Jack Brady ‏@Jack__Brady
    @tonyfernandes what's happening to my club :(

        @tonyfernandes I think I hear a slow-clap from the former @CaterhamF1 employees and creditors.

          Fernandes makes himself look even more ridiculous with every Tweet. Bashing him is far too easy at this point.

            What is ridiculous about what he said? I don't understand your point.
            Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

              Nothing Richard, but it makes some people happy. Just like some did cartwheels on the back of the crash, wringing their hands at the impending collapse of Airasia.

                Who did? Surely not even Vblock would relish that. Personally I treat each business collapse as a tragedy because people lose their livelihoods. And when that business is associated with our club's chairman, it is all the more worrying of course. Never a good idea to have too much on your plate business-wise IMHO, you end up caring less about each business and/or become torn between them.

                  Fail to see the problem with it TBH

                  Uncle T was tweeting about his main business NOT about his advertising vehicle for his main business.
                  "Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
                  For us that would mean around 29k."

                    I think the response from Jack Brady pretty much sums it up. I'm not basing my opinion of Fernandes on 1 (non QPR related) tweet. His ownership has been a death by a thousand cuts, and he makes himself look ridiculous with every passing month i.e. Dream managers, stepping down as chairman if the club was failing, retaining faith in Hughes and Redknapp, the bright future of QPR etc. He has tweeted about these things incessantly for over 3 years.

                    Bluehoop - Your assertion that people were "doing cartwheels" as a result of the Malaysian Airlines crash is absolutely repulsive.

                          Don't worry about plans or lack thereof. Such things have a tendency of occuring spontaneously too, as more and more people become increasingly frustrated.

                              Who says I can't? Depends on when it all starts. And maybe he will read the signs and resign before it, who knows. We shall see. Especially as early April should bring further clarity/utter confusion regarding the stadium project.
