Of all the people we should be turning our back on, it should not be Charlie. Just think back to that night at Loftus Road in May against Wigan. Get the ball into the box and Charlie will score. Not only that, he will run his b0ll0cks off for 90 minutes and quite clearly he is struggling but he's trying his hardest. He is probably as pissed off as we are. No support and #### all service. He is not the problem

This. He is very isolated in his role.

Bench Fer -- he disappears from most games

Start speed and commitment in the midfield: Barton, Sandro, Phillips Krancjar

Start Taraabt with Charlie -- Zamora not good for better than 15-20 minutes a game

Bring Hoddle out of the stands and onto the bench -- didn't hire him to be a spectator

Finally, take Harry off the bench (where he's a total downer) and sit him next to Tony F. Betcha we'll see Harry a bit more "animated" then.
phillips was dire against southampton , the rest is fair enough

Miles worst players than him. If he's not the problem, he's not the savior either. He does run his b ollocks off, but he does so f acking slowly. And never when running onto balls.

Ridiculous thread. If Charlie had scored that pen he'd be on three in six before today, a great strike rate for a novice prem striker, in fact, ANY prem striker.

There's a lot of others that should face the firing squad before Charlie.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

It is an absolutely thankless task playing up front on your jack, I don't think you can blame him for the situation. Give him support and he'll do ok in the prem

He needs support though mate. Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao, would all struggle to score in this team because as soon as we get the ball in our own half, it's like they don't know what to do with it. All football knowledge seems to instantly drain from their brains and suddenly we're being attacked again cause we've give it away. If we were getting balls into the box, Charlie would come alive. Looked better when Zamora can on alongside him, same as he did against Wigan in the semi

Said many times before he isnt that sort of player , he needs to play up there with someone who can hold the ball up and make space for him , he is not a lone front man , he is not good enough playing with his back to goal.

No idea why we didn't whip the ball into the box more often...charlie's just being wasted otherwise. Finds himself on the wing trying to get the ball.

That's dogshit. Have a look at his goals to game ratio for every club hes ever played for.

Gary ####ing Lineker couldnt hold the ball up either. Michael owen certainly couldn't. Maybe they were shite as well?

He needs to be eased in to the premiership, and needs to do it at a stable club. There's too much pressure and not enough quality in our side for him to do well…

But let's be honest, he's just another limited English striker.
