But has he been given verbal and written warnings?.

Somehow i cannot see it happening in the bizzare world that is football.
Probably not as as it is difficult to say he isn't doing his job properly it would be almost impossible to sack him, which is why I say pay him off and get rid.

Having said that about SWP, if we applied the same logic to Adel, he could probably have been sacked some time ago....

If a player is not being paid, he have the right to leave. But if he is not giving his best, why can't the club cancel his contract?
Was the club forced to offer him such ridiculous wages?

except that Adel has made a massive contribution despite more recent issues. We all agree that SWP has made no contribution worthy of mention. So therefore apply the same 'logic' to both of them would be..... illogical.

"Contribution" aside, I was referring to several episodes with Adel like refusing to train, turning up unfit, storming off in a sulk etc. which would likely have resulted in a written warning to any "ordinary" person in an ordinary workplace. I have seen no evidence of such things from SWP.

I think his goal at Stamford Bridge is worthy of a mention, sadly, that's about all he has done for us in 3 plus seasons!

I don't blame any player for collecting the pay cheque that was contractually agreed by BOTH sides. If he is training hard and ready, willing, and able to play when selected, as I believe SWP is, then he is holding up his end of the contract.

If the club stupidly paid too much money for too long to a player who is not good enough, that is on them.

im affraid its just a harsh lesson we have learned......not the players fault but i do question his desire to play over picking up his cheque.......many players would rather game time lse where!

Never liked SWP, coining it in with no regard for anyone else.

That's champagne socialists for you though I suppose
I should probably write something insightful here

Yes SWP is in his rights to go thru the motions and collect his wages every week.
Yes the club were silly to agree those wages in the first place and yes i am sure most people would not turn it down

but there are many people who dont want to be thought of as a paracite and free loader and would go out on loan to try to prove that they are worthy of the
wage they are paid , but SWP is not one of these people, he will always be the QPR Winston Bogarde

Are SWP & Jenas the last 2 of the failed mercenary generation?

                              SWP in squad. Harriman isn't.

That's nuts. Total nuts. Harriman is too old to play if he isn't in the squad. We have one RB...

Harriman is one of the most underated QPR players, he rarely puts a foot wrong, for his age he is some talent at right back
                                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                                And many more mistakes
