yep, hoilett was great, thats why i keep harping on about picking him. good at tracking back and also scares the defence when running forward. just hope we can fark toare off and get some dough for him.

anyway, mutch, fer, isla, philips were all quality. rio and hill were dependable. charlie huffed and puffed on his own up top and got a great goal. hoilett was class. but my man of the match has to be caulker. a complete farking monster of a defender. blocked farking everything, plays the ball calmly out of defense, wins every header.

Green for me, little to do but made 3 great saves especially the one in the first 10 minutes.

A truly great TEAM performance today

Caulker seemed for more assured that Rio, and gets my nod. Thought Phillips had a stinker.

The most heartening performance, if not the best, was from Fer. Was a real factor out there today, and believe he'll become our dominant midfielder. Also nice to see Mutch pick it up today; he was one of several who barely registered in the Spurs tilt.

Lots of good performances to choose from but Fer and Barton in particular stood out for me. I've given Fer the nod because he set up the goal.

Caulker - his best game for us so far, starting to settle well into the role alongside Rio.

Great all round like others have said, but Fer gets my vote! Got an assist, deserved a goal from that shot and generally just looked like a monster in the middle.

He's certainly a big lad. I almost got a Danny Shittu/Bob Hazell vibe.
