That's unaffordable for a poor Italian team and a fair bit of money for most Prem sides. Just because we pay ridiculously inflated wages doesn't mean others can or will…

And Adel's fitness is a non-issue. He is fit enough to play, and will only get fitter if he does so.
bottom line is he is on the books at little ol QPR...bottom of the table. plenty of money floating around this division and europe and as wages go 60k ain't a whole lot of poke so why no offers for him? keep digging....

Here are the stats for 2012/2013.

          http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252...ague-2012-2013

Here, Taarabt created the 7th most chances per game in the whole of the league.
And his average rating of 7.22 was 35th highest in the Premier League - considering there are over 220 players, that is hardly a failure.

And here are the stats for 2011/2012.

          http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252...ague-2011-2012

Here, Taarabt created the 11th most chances per game in the whole of the league.
And his average rating of 6.99 was 71st highest in the Premier League - not great at all, but still better than half the players.

Of course stats don't tell the whole picture, but they do tell 75% of the picture.
What is interesting about the stats is how few goals he scores despite the huge number of shots he has - and we'll all agree with this, his shooting is often poor.
But in other areas, such as creativity and dribbling, he is up there with the best - in 2012/2013, he had the second most dribbles after Suarez, and his success rate at dribbles was higher than Suarez and Bale.

I think when you look at the amount of rubbish players Taarabt was surrounded with in the Premier League, such as Diakite, M'bia, SWP etc, he actually did quite well.
Yes AT is so much better than a crap player who only earned himself respect and a contract during his loan spell at Seville, didn´t even win a european title either.

According to transfermarkt they spent 4,25 million euro on the CB Adil Rami and 7 million on the winger Giacomo Bonaventura.

So yes it seems they really really wanted Adel, but unfortunately they were broke.

Everyone knows La Liga is much easier to play in. Just look at Ronaldo or Bale - their goals per game ratio is MUCH higher in Spain than it was in England.

As I've already explained, 7M fee + 60k wages is a lot of money for most sides. He's obviously not join to a top 7 side, and few sides can afford him outside of them. Add the fact that Adel probably doesn't fancy living in Stoke, Hull or Sunderland or your standard Northern shithole and there are few clubs that could/would realistically go for him.

Assuming salary was an option and we have heard so much b llocks from the fat #### that he wanted a big move why not take a hit on the salary to make his dream come true???

What's more important the dream we keep hearing about or the cash???
Why would Milan not choose to include an option to buy? They may as well. They didn't sign him because they're scroungers who realised they could get Menez from PSG on a free. They've prob also realised that they can get him for less than the 7M we've been asking for, which is why they offered 3M. Would you not try and go for a bargain if you were broke?

And he didn't choose to take a reduced wage for the same reason ALL of our overpaid 'stars' haven't moved. Rangers = good money, basically #### all training or managerial demands and the chance to live in London.

I don't even mean to constantly defend Taarabt but some of you are either blinded by your emotions towards the man or are genuinely clueless.

As ever, there is more to it than that.

Bonaventura and Rami are both on €1m a year. Adel gets more than 3 times that over here.
