  • Cargiant deliver another blow to QPR stadium plans

Looks like we might need to look elsewhere for a new stadium location!

TF should just be quiet, and get things done, then release the info.

Not very businesslike these public two & fro's.

We could always relocate to Milton Keynes.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

I will burn my CarGiant kit if they block this New Stadium move.

But seriously, I agree, all this airing of dirty laundry is getting frustrating. Wish they can discuss at meetings more amicably. Fingers crossed further discussions are on the way.

They could be playing hardball for more money, or planning their own building of properties?

Not sure why this is a 'blow' to the stadium plans. If Car Giant are relocating anyway why do we need them as partners?

We could save a shedload of money and just rebuild the Loftus Road stadium, increasing the capacity by performing some design/construction wizardry. In the meantime we can play our home games on Shepherds Bush Green, rent a few shops facing the park for offices and changing rooms, sorted.

Give it a few months he will say we don't need a new stadium anyway a bit like we now don't need a training ground

Yeh, does seem like a bit of brinkmanship. A bit gutting considering the owner Tony Mendes of CarGiant is a QPR fan and season ticket holder. Though I spose he is just making sure he doesn't mix buisiness with pleasure.

Although W12Ranger did refer to me as a useless to sser, he did pretty much call this and like you say it all sounds like the dream and hype is not reality!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

its my understanding 'safe standing areas will be introduced into the premier league by 2018.....a redeveloped ellerslie rd stand incorporating vip boxes n media center and large safe standing terrace could be the answer......the paddocks could be returned to safe terracing and our spirtual home could be saved!

A complete rebuild for me. LR is a sh*thole.

And i'm too tall to sit.
