Some clubs use media to push price up on players. Since Stephen Caulker there have been no bids on players. As I keep saying we have learnt.

Also responded to a rather overdramatic tweet about some guy throwing himself off a bridge if we sign Eto'o, saying "Don't worry."

Think we can rule Eto'o out. And IMO it's good to see we're taking our time and not getting fleeced again. He responded to another tweet asking if there are others in the pipeline:

@Julia_Smith45 yes for sure. But. right character and right price. Maybe two or three.

Seriously - not one bid on a player - fair enough but find that hard to believe given he says we have 2/3 in the pipeline, unless they are free transfers of course

We need more than 2\3 more players!

If theyve not bidded then we are in trouble.

Exactly my thinking. They all say different things.

I expect maybe 2/3 loans, but at least 4 contracted players, if not 5.

Maybe Tony just keeps cards close to his chest and don't want to give any clues,if things start to drag again

No more bids SINCE Caulker. Doesn't mean there isn't still bids on the table from before c SC.

I'd guess we've made bids on a take it or leave it basis.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'll be happy to leave our defence as it is, I think we've got enough cover (for now)... 2 or 3 signings- 1 striker and 2 midfields.... we don't have to rebuild the whole team in this window.

Think it's his way of saying we are not touching Eto and not bidding £10M+ for Deeney - what's not to like or approve of?

Imo you need 4 strikers to compete with, and to be able to cover injury etc.

I agree, but the problem is you could say that about most/all positions.... IMO we're doing the right thing, just holding back and not being greedy (like in the past). It all takes time... Rome in a day and all that

I only want three players and then I will be happy - Kevin Mendez (young full of potential), Andros Townsend and Mario Balotelli. I am easily pleased!

Hope that Balotelli bit is a wind up and you dont actually think we would have a hope of signing him...
