everyone was thinking the same thing with laudraup and swansea this season though, he was odds on to be the first manager sacked at the beginning of the season. i completely disagree with adkin's sacking, cortese was just plain wrong sacking him but this new guy could be the new laudraup.

Major difference to Laudrup. He didn't replace a wrongly sacked manager, had pre season so had time to work with squad and bring in his players. More importantly though, he speaks English and was also one of Europes greatest players ever so would instantly have respect from everyone.

I actually feel a bit sorry for the new Saints manager as he's on a bit of a hiding to nothing.

Watching how Southampton play and football really is an easy game made hard by managers.

Southampton have movement off the ball and attack with pace they make the most of what they have. You dont need to spend millions to have that every team no matter how much is spent on them should be able to attack with pace and move to create options

Southamptons players all look eager to prove themselves in the prem whereas most of our lot think they have already made it. They want it more than Everton and have been the much better team. Look better than us on current showing.
