Judging by his performance before he got injured, hardly exciting. Maybe it was that Hughes didn't know how to get the best out of him?

To judge him before he got injured you would have to have been watching him play for Fulham last season. He started this season with a hip injury which was "managed" with injections before each game. he played every game unfit and in pain, which, irrespective of his ability or even his dislike of the game, will have impacted on his performance. Hughes is 100% to blame by having insufficient strikers and proper cover to allow him to have had this operation and recover 100% before playing.

Not sure this partnership will work out as Zamora has not really made an impact while with us

Would rather DJ and Remy upfront together

So I assume he wont be needing injections for pain when he comes back? Some of these injuries last for a long time and are hard to shake even with time to heal or sometimes flare up.

I believe this is why they finally pulled him out to have the operation. Hopefully he will be cured, pain free and able to perform to his best...........I'm not saying he will be the new Ferdinand but he should at least be fit to show what he can do.

Good player and if 'Arry can get the best out of him great foil for Remy although if playing two up front how will he jiggle midfield/accommodate Adel?
