I don think its a big gamble, more of a choice from the board.

Its not really our Money its probably out of their own pockets???

IMO he looks bright and offers something SWP cant anymore (Pace and confidence)
I agree with your views here btw, but cant really put the Chelski game in there as an example - he went off after 3 minutes didnt he?!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I would say the Mittals paid for it which is nice of them. Maybe we could send them an ecard?

Reading cup game... Apart from the early goal, didn't look great to me. Sorry but he's been poor the majority of times he's worn the shirt and then with all our problems... Under 2 managers hardly gets a look in. Just shows how much he's impressing in training.

Utter disappointment so far, trust me though mate I'd love him to step up and be the player he was last season, cos like you said he has more in his locker than swp and mackie put together and I believe under Harry he can but the blame lies at his feet, not managers for not giving him the chance because he's had chances

Yes I agree with this. In fact I am a bit baffled why JH hasn't had a decent run in the side. I was really pleased when he signed but hasn't had a run with either manager yet.

What formation has he been playing in at Marseille? Can he play up front alone?

Players need a run of games to be judged on.

I also think its key to remember that teams and players need time to gel.

Helguson is a perfect example - Maybe Hoillet and others will come good like we know they all should
