  • Onuoha speaks out

Have to give the lad credit, he's going through a terrible time at the moment, and is turning out great performances. Even against Liverpool I thought he was very good.

He was clearly struggling with his game before he was given time off. Since his mum passed away and he has come back into the team he has been playing really well. Massive respect to him for that, as well as for his comments in that article.

Fans forget players are human and will encounter most of the same things in life we all do.

been a massive turnaround in his game, must admit was starting to write him off but he has forced a lot of people - me included - to take a fresh look. been excellent the last three league games.

He has been very poor since his arrival. Obviously his mums condition took its toll which i suppose is natural. He has though looked a different player these past couple of games, fair play to the boy.

Got question why Hughes spent fairly big on him though if he knew his personal turmoil. Harsh but true.

wouldnt go that far, as all personal circumstances can be used as a stepping stone and platform to try to build yourself up again

My question to hughes though is: why did he play rubbish under you and now that HR is in he's got some new confidence etc...it's a question that could be said about most of the players hughes bought...

As for Onuoha - respect to be given there - not many men open up like that, all supposed to be "hard" and not some "soft sissy" when actually, there are more important things than football, there really are.

Think since the Fulham game he's been very good, best player v Liverpool very good at Chelsea & kept Lennon & Bale quiet on Saturday! And all at right back? Not bad for a centre half!

He deserves a chant from us next game, he is a ranger and we should show him we are with him 100%

Fair play to him - poor sod having to go through that. Playing farking well lately, long may it continue. Agree with Kron - be good to show him some support.... Only problem is half our fans can't spell his name let alone pronounce it
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
