Hoping he get another injury then his pace and ability against Hill makes me nervous in a similar way as the matchup vs suarez

Indeed. Hauls the player down 6 yards from goal..... as clear cut a red as it gets.

Kompany's for me should not have been a red though and given they've rescinded worse lately i fully expect a panel to review say he got the ball cleanly and only led with one foot.... never a red and i expect he'll be fine to play against us.

I think Ric thought you were saying the Koscielny one was not a red as that was being discussed in the posts above yours....????

as they've appealed does that mean he will be free to face us regardless of the result of that appeal because it will drag on for ages?

Appeals are sorted before next round of fixtures. Not much point in appealing if you can't play anyway.

Both his feet were off the ground, Definite red.

Won't be an issue for them they have Lescott!

Good news if the appeal fails, but it's not like they'll be putting some kid from the ressies in his place- it will be Lescott, an exceptionally good CB.

Then all we have to hope for is injuries & suspensions to Silva, Tevez, Aguero & Dzeko and we'll be fine.

Will Toure be back from Africa for the game? If not, we could do with him getting a knock as well.

A red is harsh for that tackle imo but it don't really impact on the upcoming game whether Kompany plays or not because City have good players all over the pitch and on the bench too.
