QPR are expected to confirm the loan signing of Jake Livermore in the next 48 hours.

Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has agreed a deal to take the Tottenham midfielder, 23, to Loftus Road for the rest of the season.

Redknapp, sacked as Spurs boss in June, has been in contact with his former club about the possible availability of several of their players.

He is keen to sign at least one midfielder during the transfer window and was made aware that Livermore was potentially available.

Livermore has previously had loan spells at Leeds, Derby, Ipswich and Peterborough.
