I think Marseilles suits Joey better. If he were ever to play in the UK again he would still be under the same pressure (through his own making). In Marseilles he started with a clean sheet so to speak, his reputation did not proceed him and the refs do not judge him on previous performances (which we know happened here). Unfortunately this is something which will not happen in the UK.
