Sunderland and QPR are among the clubs showing interest in New York Red Bulls midfielder Tim Cahill.
The Australian, 33, is ready to return to England on a two-month loan and had been hopeful of joining former club Everton.


QPR are looking for similar deals and manager Harry Redknapp is an admirer of Cahill's all-action style.
