Thread: Stanley Collymore in the People

  1. Default Stanley Collymore in the People

Anyone else buy the People today? Stan's put in his predictions for who will finish where he has got Man City to finish 1st, Scum 2nd, Utd 3rd Arse 4th. Ok the 3 to go down according to him are Wigan 20th, Saints 19th Norwich 18th. He has us finishing 16th which I would take right now if offered don't have a problem with that, but the 2 predictions that do sort of mystify me a bit is Villa to finish 9th and Spam to finish 13th, and the reason he gives for both of these decisions is Lambert & Allardyce. Now the manager is important but surely it's about players, and Villa showed last year lose Bent and they couldn't win for love nor money.

    Id guess:

    1. Citeh
    2. Chelski
    3. Utd

    18. Norwich
    19. Swansea
    20. Wigan

Us 13th or 14th. Tbh though would take anything that meant we were safe from relegation with 4 or 5 games to go.

Haven't seen the article but 16th for Rangers, I don't think so, we are looking good to finish a good few places above this number and certainly above WHU.
If the manager is so important there why did they go up via the play off's and not outright!
For the drop I fancy Swansea, Norwich and Wigan, but not neccesarily in that order. Any order will do ....... lol
I really rate Martinez and both Liverpool and Spurs have missed opportunities to get him in but the squad up there is weak and they are looking to sell their best players.

I can't see Swansea going down mate to be honest. I reckon it'll be saints, agree with Wigan and Norwich.

Collymore is clueless and an embarrassing pundit. This was the man posting all over twitter before Italy v England saying Pirlo was finished and has been for 5 years and we all know what happened....that's just one example of his 'football knowledge', he should stick to slapping women around

He's a Villa fan so no surprise talking them up with Lambert.

For espresso drinking, chorizo munchers like me who read The Observer I was more cheered to see a prediction of QPR in 9th.
