Freedom of speech (if such a thing existed) also applies to the criticism Facto. Or are you trying to quash free speech?

20 pager full of smileys and trolls trolling trolls and men sitting in pants with their co*ks out dribbling and wipping up an orgasmic wind up frenzy I predict. Mo Farahs run made me get up and slap my table and shout come on. Then realise I was totally alone doing this. Rarely do I do emotional **** like that.

To witness history like that, it was a privilege.
    Very jealous.

The support from the crowds for all the athletes (mostly, Didn't Suarez get booed in his games at Old Trafford?) has been excellent.

It's made a large number of people realise that patriotism doesn't necessarily have to come hand in hand with jingoism. Combined with the jubilee celebrations, it's made them aware it's OK to wave the flag, without it associating them with the idiots like the BNP etc

The crowds have acclaimed the winners like Bolt, and watched him become a legend, but also given huge encouragement who are miles behind the leaders but have given their all just to be competing at the Olympics. It's been great fun.

Quite, but the beliefs should not be automatically treated as having equal worth.

I know vblock isn't a racist, he was just looking to illicit an angry response (and I suppose that he got one elsewhere in the thread), but as usual it was obvious, tired and lazy. The points he made had already been made and put down in the other Olympic thread.

I just suggested he needed to be more clever about his WUMs, as they're just weak and transparent at the moment. At least try new material. WUMs are getting less sympathy at the moment, see the Rileyy_69, and Kenneth Tong stories on Twitter recently, that made the front pages.

You may have been in an empty room, but in no way shape or form were you alone in doing that. You were one of millions I suspect!

agreed deeps the fevour and partisan support when required has been overwellming at times...but in true british tradition(usa take note) we have cheered other nations success with equal gusto!!!

The funniest story I've seen was from Fox News, who were whinging that there wasn't enough U S A! chants, and the athletes weren't wearing enough Stars and Stripes on their 'uniforms' Apparently the worst offender was Gabby Douglas (gold medallist gymnast) who was wearing pink.

The gold medal, the US flag being raised at the medal ceremony, and the anthem being played for Gabby's brilliant performance wasn't good enough for them apparently.

I can't be arsed to google but I am sure New Zealand are the worlds most successful olympic nation per capita. Then Denmark. We are around 7th. China were near the bottom.
