He's on more than £60k a week at Liverpool so why would he of bitten our hands off for it?

Barton, SWP, Hoilett, Zamora are all on massive money so why wouldn't we of offered Bellamy that? Seems very plausible to me.

His family wanted him home. Simple as that.

And as mentioned above turning down a Premier League club & big money to 'come home' will give him hero status.

He's 33.. Would we have offered him a deal of 60 grand for 2 years?3 years? Maybe we would only offer him a year and he wanted more.. Either way I just don't belive 60 grand was offered to him unless it was a year deal..
