    Default In a Right Pickle....

Anybody else had their 4 wisdom teeth removed in 1 hit?

Had mine out Thurs morning and my jaws like Elephant Man today, absolute nightmare. Living off yogurt, custard and a bowl of mash isnt ideal for a man used to consuming 17,000 calories a day

Just wondering if anybody has had the same and could advise as to when I can expect to be able to eat or even speak properly again!

Feel for you mate, had mine out last year, very, very painful, feels like you've been kicked in the jaw by a race horse!! And i had a sore throat for days after..

Mine settled down after the second day, very painful when you swallow food for a couple of days, my throat killed me for 2 days, just stick to energy drinks, and as you say yoghurt or ice cream

4th day now and feeling alot better tbf. Yesterday was a nightmare, could barely open me jaw enough to eat ice cream from a tea spoon!

Still aches obviously but, fingers crossed, worst of it over now, swellings certainly gone down so look more like a hamster smuggling food than the elephant man.

Didnt realise how bl00dy painful having a few teeth out could be!
