as long as we dont go to kensal and they nab WC or unig........imagine the view from a top floor trellick flat if r'ss were at kensal!!
chelski in harlesden is wrong, this end of west london is qpr land.but on the other hand can you imagine us in rise/grove and the scum a cpl miles down the road in harlesden/park royal.it will take the rivalry onto a different level, and with both clubs so close you might get a few more locals supporting west london clubs like they hould be doing, instead of utd, lpool, arse, spurs, etc!

as previously stated, anyone who compromises or eats into the scrubs itself will not be doing themselves a favour. It is by far the biggest open space in inner london and much valued as such by a lot of people who we really dont want to antagonise. If they could do it without phukkin up the scrubs it could work, but access on the Scrubs side would be an issue.
I cant see them getting planning permission to be honest
if this ground is going to be anywhere its got to be on the old unigate site, the one that gianni set fire to
Not really. Think the management are pretty hard nosed. They are not going to pay over the odds. If the price remains too high they will go somewhere else - further out - or nowhere at all. At the moment think stadium talk is as much about talking up the brand and attracting players/ fans as anything. We prob will move at some point but my sense is that its not as concrete (quite literally) as some fans seem to think/ hope just yet.
lets just squat in wembley!
hello darkness my old friend...i come to talk to you again!
If you have a lookm through this link it shows you the plans h&F have for it so it would be perfect for us.....the central line also runs very close to the area.....its perfect

ha! you beat me to it
Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread but regarding the Linford site by the Scrubs, this has cropped up many times in the past but has always been rejected on the grounds that it's protected against development, and that there are serious issues around access given the residential nature of the area, plus the hospital and prison etc.
Shame, because the location would be fantastic in terms of retaining links to QPR history. But I can't see it happening.
Can I throw a cat among the pigeons here? Honest, this is not a 'troll' suggestion, but would it really be impossible for people to consider ground-sharing with Chelski? I can assure you, no one despises them more than I do (being of 60s / 70s QPR vintage, I fully understand how dreadful they are). But I'm thinking, here we have two Prem teams looking for a big stadium in West London. Think how much further our money would go and how much wider our options would be if we pooled resources. Other cities around Europe have ground-sharing between big clubs. Personally I could live with it, simply on the basis that the advantages outweigh the downside. And a blue stadium would suit both!
Thoughts?
After the Swansea result, I heard we were going to erect a circus tent in Wormwood Scrubs.
The LC site to my mind is a frontrunner given that as i understand it The MOD (Goverment) own the land.
With the current financial state of the alledged governments lack of funds for some items and the recently
reported sale of park space i feel this really possible.
With the right planning and interaction with local community and all parties concerned this could well
be where we move to.
Maybe 2+2=5 but maybe 4 in light of above
This location was rumoured a while back as well -

Just heard from a mate who has a source inside LR that the new stadium will be where the Linford Christie stadium now stands on the scrubs. 40,000 seater.
If this is wrong, don't shoot the messenger, I'm just telling you what I've heard

if the unigate and bbc sites are a no go than this would be a reluctant 3rd choice, to provide adequate transport links would make it prohibitive, the cost would be collossal
I will come home again, but not until
