Clint or Anton?

A lot of people mention how next year that hill wont feature much..

I'm curious to know.. who do you rate more as a centreback?

hill or ferdinand? the only thing ferdinand has on hill for me is pace.. that said i dont recall seeing hill being torn up by anybody's pace last year?

for me i'd have nelson and hill as centrbacks with traore and onouha to add pace to the back line.

ferdy every time, but they don't really play the same position. hill is a centre half, anton plays alongside centre half.

Hill wont start games next year unless there are injury's , Nelsen and Ferdinand will be Hughes first choice pairing , and there will be another center back coming in as well more than likely.

I think Hill will be a superb squad member but in the first instance I would give Anton the nod

Surprised as the last two weeks plenty have moaned about needing youth and signing old players but then put Clint over Anton. Surely Anton is the future in comparison to Clint???

Very simples....

Ferdinand was playing without confidence and guidance and has a tendency to lack concentration sometimes and vocals.
and he was hardly an inspiration for other players
All this changed for the good when a Real Commander became his partner in central defense

So for me without a doubt ... HILL

Don't let yourselves be fooled , Ferdinand looks on paper the better player and more experienced.
But.... it was Hill who kept us together and showed what a leader must be in the back apart from Chelsea away.
POTY so deserves that captains band.

It is not very common to buy a captain every season......

Atm it is Hill for me because of his passion and presence. Ferdinand is a better player but not a leader.

I want Hill to start for us next season and as a captain... He performs well every single week and is a very good defender who gives it his all for the team. He's loud, passionate and commanding...all needed to be a great captain. Why replace someone like this? I reckon he's got at least another good season in him
