Yes, they were the better team, like we were the better team against Man City on the last day![]()
I am sure that would have been a great consolation to us if Bolton relegated us.

Ibrahimovic acted like a complete tool yesterday and then followed it up with this load of tripe

personally reckon they did shade it, Spain or Germany would have giving us a hiding on that performance

after watching the highlights again i cant see how sweden were better, england had the better chances and more of them.
been some very good displays in this comp from a few teams, although we havnt set world alight i feel we are having a typical german, italian tournament.Do enough and plod on through and then **** me we in the semis.

when Sweden went 2-1 up, Ibranovich was giving Hart some verbals. Does anyone know what that was about?

i think when they were celebrating the goal in our goal hart attempted to push them out slightly, might be reason ibrahimovic started kicking off. Although from memory Hart was being a right gobby twonker at us in the away end, it wouldnt suprise me if hart had been giving ibrahimovic some verbals to begin with.
Aw come on. They say nothing insulting about England. They say exactly what we say shortly after a game we've lost -- having been in front. They were disappointed. "We were the better team". Yeah, yeah, we say that too. They pointed out that twice now they have lost leads and need to address it. I've heard a a lot worse than that.
And whisper it softly -- Sweden were indeed the better team technically, and probably should have won. Two great goals got us the win. On other days, both Walcott and Welbeck would have fluffed those chances but to their credit they went in.
I didn't think they were the better side. We made mistakes in posession, but so did they. We scored 3 great goals - Carroll's header was as good a headed goal I have seen for a while. There goals were defensive blunders by us.....it was tense and close.
They are just bitter and updet that they are going home with the Irish.
