Clever lad is milko, actually no mention of there being a loan here either....

Samba Diakite arrived at Loftus Road just days after making his international debut for Mali.

The 23 year-old was handed his first start for his country in their African Cup of Nations opener against Guinea.

The combative midfielder helped his national side to a 1-0 victory in Francevilla.

After playing in his homeland in the early part of his career, Diakite moved to French Club AS Nancy in 2007.

He made his debut towards the end of the 200910 campaign in a Coupe de France fixture against Plabennec, before going on to make 23 appearances the following season.

He featured in 15 Lique 1 fixtures for the French side this season before making the move to W12

im more worried about the goalkeeping situation if we do buy green i think i would still like to keep kenny as a reserve keeper with this ridiculous 25 man squad if we got green injured we would only have cerny,so i think its better to keep kenny as reserve than sell him for half a million

I think we would all prefer Paddy to Cerny as a reserve, but I cant imagine Paddy being happy to sit on the bench all season. Cerny is sufficient back up IMO.

If Kenny does leave there is no way Hughes will not sign a decent and fit back up keeper. However, I think it is wise to sort out the situation regarding Kenny and any potential replacement first. Actually, the task of securing a decent young keeper, capable of deputising for the first choice when necessary, is not going to be the biggest challenge we face this pre-season.
What's the odds we get to go to sunny Bournemouth in December
