would benefit zamora but at what cost to our side?

for me having taarabt means we cant really have a slow winger on the right - we will need somebody who will get into the box ala mackie.

He is typically used as a right winger but lacks pace. What he lacks in pace he makes up for quality of final ball so the crosses would be top notch into Bobby. He takes a great free kick and would be my choice on corners taking duty. I think his best position is in the hole behind the striker/s as he is very creative but we've got Adel for that so I'd play him on the right.

    In summary I'd take him.

5-6 years ago he was pretty good, I think spuds loaned him out to wet spam where he got injured

Wide right mf, good crosser when he felt like it, trouble was it seemed as if he didn't feel up for it consistently enough

His time has come and gone I'm afraid

Still only 27 and played his best football under Hughes when he broke into the England team, so why not?

I agree and would only be on loan with an option to buy

Default David Bentley eyes QPR switch

And the Chronicle understand the 27-year-old, who has a year remaining on his contract, would jump at the chance of rejoining the Welshman and pulling on a QPR shirt.

A source said: “Sparky made David a great player, and he was happiest at Blackburn when the two were there together.”

Bentley is a step backwards IMO. Not as good as he thinks he is.
