Thread: ALL we spent this window - £6.25 million

  1. Default

I was trying to wrack my mind over Stoke's sales.... Well aware it's net spend, but can't think of their outgoing players.

Maybe there weren't many and those fees thrown around (£10m, £8m and £4m) aren't strictly correct, but maybe hyped to appease the fans. May be worth that amount with add ons....

Probably means they haven't included undisclosed figures.
They mustve because gorkks and leigertwood were undisclosed

The only players to leave Stoke were Carl Dickinson (Watford), Faye (West Ham), Gudjohnsen (AEK) and Sonko (Ipswich).

Fella - Its NET spending in transfer dealings. Meaning players in and out.

Leigertwood's sale might of come into last season because the deal was actually done late Jan so I was led to believe. It was a loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Just because the wages mentioned for Barton were mindblowing for us, that was because we weren;t used to anything like that, yet they are pretty common in the prem. You think Crouch / palacios / Jeans / Bellamy / etc etc aren't on high wages...?

Same for any transfers, the average wage in the prem is probably something like £40k / week.

    Read back through post mate.

Its nett spending, therefore taking into account sales too, hense why Arsenal's spending is down as a negative figure (megabucks coming in from Nasri n Fabregas).
