  • Gregory vs Tony: Take a walk Tony

Tony has made a pigs ear of it all. He's no Jim Gregory. Good intentions mean nothing. He's been mugged off all over the gaff. It would have never happened to Gregory, FACT. Hasn't got the minerals for it. Time to pay. Walk away now Tony. Love you but you're clown-like. Enjoy Vegas, we'll do the relegation bit without you. #clownscan'tbuildfootballclubs

I thought his managerial appointments were entirely to blame for everything?

Think you've said everything there with your response, Surrey. Tony declared he'd be at every remaining game with 6 games to go. He's in Vegas tonight. Not blaming him, good fight. Let me ask all of you this: Gregory or Tony? Don't sit on the fence give me the answer that you know is right. #clownscan'tbuildfootballclubs

Our fortunes under Fernandes are becoming remarkably similar to those of Caterham when he owned them: Big ambitions and promises up front, a lot of money injected into the wrong areas, no clear plan, an inevitable lack of success, and Fernandes selling up with the company no further forward, and millions of pounds in debt.

Couldn't agree more Surrey. Kid in a sweet shop stuff. Love the bloke, but step away mate. Think the Mittels will be in charge come 1st game in the championship. In Tony's words everyone has someone to answer to. Think his time is up. Schoolboy stuff.

I think we are crying out for Bhatia to take over the chairmanship. Certainly had a lot of passion for the club at one time, with an astute business and football mind to go with it. It's all well and good clearing the squad out and starting yet again from scratch, but until Fernandes puts his ego to one side and puts the best interests of the club above his own (by stepping down), we will lurch from one abject season to another. Like you say, it really is schoolboy stuff.

Mate, anyone who dares to criticse TF or suggest an alternative to his ownership gets mugged off on here. Just comes with the territory.

                    ok Surrey
suggest an alternative that's realistic and I -and hopefully others -will listen.

No he was at Anfield he tweeted he was in Vegas and flying back for the match

For me his only mistakes this season was holding onto Harry to long. It don't matter what he does some will moan ie the transfer strategy; well this season he done what so many wanted invested in apparent young hungry players!! guess what know it all's its not worked and were as bad as we were with the old lazy players as we are with young hungry ones

The issue is not the age of players but getting the right players but that's the managers job to identify not his

He's done stuff wrong, will probably do stuff wrong in the future too, don't we all make mistakes, but lets cast out minds back and point the fingers at ourselves for a moment!! we all keep crying for a owner/chairman who runs the club as a business, makes ends meet and makes the tough decisions well we had that person it was Richard Thompson and we ran him out the club because we never wanted that style of owner so whats changed do we not have now what so many craved for back then??? (could argue in more recent times Flabby done the same we wanted him gone too)

I'm not saying I disagree or agree but you can't compare, it's like saying Austin should #### off because he is no Les Ferdinand. How many chairmen have we had better than Gregory ? Also if he did the things today that he did back then he would be in jail and the club would be relegated out of the league. Different times.

Read the entire thread. Amit Bhatia is the realistic alternative. The point is that you and the rest of the TF fanboys DON'T listen. You blindly state that we need TF / that no-ne else would buy the club (as if you know something that we don't) / and that Fernandes will 'turn it around' etc., without ever giving a logical, reasoned argument as to why.

Only realistic if he wants it and it don't look like it anymore.

I like Amit and think he would do decent job but lets be having it straight was he 1) not in charge when we first started running up debts and 2) was he not part of the lets mislead the fans and pretend im running the show and Flabby has no involvement when it turns out flabby was still very much pulling the strings
