  • I wonder if we were wrong about the 'orible Sherwood?

He's transformed what I thought was a poor Vila side. Maybe we should have tried harder to meet his demands. Really admit I didn't want him though, can't stand him.

Dig up some old threads & let's see who said what.

I was quite vocal in my opinion that I think he'd keep us up & be a good appointment. Les went with his pal so that's that.

In fairness Benteke is single handedly keeping them up, but credit will rightly go to the gaffer.

Nope, he's got more to work with at Villa than he would have here. We made the right decision not taking him on.

      He's also a massive, massive tw*t.

Plus if it's true he wanted ridiculous money I'm glad we didn't go for him, but I do believe his hunger alone would of given us a great chance.

Agree about benteke. Plus I think Sherwood was ideal and made for us think he would have sorted us out

I didn't want him, I thought Ramsey was the answer but I think a clean sweep is now the only way forward!

MCCarthy, Caulker, Phillips, Sandro, I can't think of anyone else, clear out all the rest!
              Kept the faith!

I'd still keep Ramsey funnily enough. In the championship I think he'd be good for us. Either that or the gear hasn't kicked in yet.

I don't blame Ramsey for this mess at all. The clubs a joke, the way we conducted business in the summer and jam was farcical and Harry's poor buys and tactics cost us ,massively.
Tf refusal to grasp the situation early doors and try to rectify the situation has also take. It's toll.

Ramsey inherited a championship standard squad hence why we are heading straight back dwin there. We lack a lw, decent cb, decent cm and strikers. What did we all expect if we are being honest.

I don't fault the heart of most the players this year we just lack quality, pace and energy all over the place.

Villa are far from safe and far from impressing right now. They have better remaining fixtures but can still fark it up.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

                      Far from impressing?

                      Yet another win.

3 wins & a draw in the last 5 games. Hardly shabby.

He wouldn't have kept us up. We just aren't good enough.

Neither Guardiola nor Mourinho will have had save us! You have to work with what you have....and we did not have much!

The one good thing about hull and Leicester winning recently is that villa can still get sucked in. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
