So do we now have to resubmit new plans as it has been scaled down? have to go through the whole objection/appeal thing again?

The key words in that artical are "HOPE" and "LOOKING"

no sign of the word "WILL" in any of that.

every year its the same old shyte. i will believe it only when turf starts to get dug up.
        nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Sounds good, think this is much more important than the stadium at the minute.

Agree with Upper, more important than a new ground

Good to have an update but heard it all before and won't start to believe anything until I see some action

                Talk is cheap

Easy enough for TF and the meeja team to put out another quote or tweet to soothe disgruntled fans, pretty much like the player quotes every week. I have no doubt that TF's heart is in the right place - but lets see something actually getting done ffs

The most encouraging quote is probably the last one where he says about seeing the youngsters in the first team.
It is a question of short term ambitions being different to the long ones at the moment. The money involved in staying in the Prem causes that unfortunately.

Great news. I'm still hoping we get the planning permission for the new stadium.

Well at least this confirms that the current board are here for the long term, and the new training facility is needed asap. Not matter who comes in we need this and it will take time, it's not a computer game where it takes 5 minutes to build.

It's positive and great news that they are still wanting to pursue this project.

I don' think there is anything negative about this article. Instead of going ahead with big plans for a training facility, it has been decided after researching the matter that it would be better to scale it down. Surely this is better than having built a grandiose facility which was then found not to be suitable.

Also do you want him to say the training facilities will be finished in two years and then having to come back and say, this and that happened. These things always take time especially if they are done properly.

I think the amended plans might be building plans and not planning permission, but that is not clear from the article.

And on the level we will be playing by then I am sure they will do very well. See, I can be positive sometimes.

Beginning to think it will only have happened when a useless £10M crock of s hit signing 'earning' £90K per day turns up to train (badly......) there.......

He says work will be started this year so that is good news but i just wonder whether relegation might affect that decision. Not to sure if these big investors with their eyes on OOC and all the money that will bring are keen to wait around too long while we continue to stall in becoming an established top flight club and instead leak money like theres no tomorrow. Patience ran out at Caterham when they failed to make an impact.
