  • That Liverpool game

I know we lost but I believe it's matches like this that win you new fans and supporters, not everyone are glory hunters.

Do you think this match gained us a few more followers in the UK and abroad, I'd like to hear your views?

For me I believe "Yes", I love the underdogs and we should have won.

I believe the answer is YES but if was short lived because of comments made by our manager after the game.

We are Marmite, even some of the Fans on here don't like us!
We need a lot of crazy Marmite munchers to discover the Dark Side.

I think every televised match attracts some new supporters, but I fear the ending of this one has also turned some people away.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

It was pretty impressive - for those that missed it or for those who would like to re-live it; here it is again....

I started to support QPR that way. It was 88-89 season and ironically it was game against Liverpool at Loftus Road. We won 3-2 and Paul Wright scored 2 goals. I'm from Finland and everyone supported Liverpool here back then and somehow i fancied QPR more because they were underdogs and late 80's Liverpool was best club in England. The commentator of that game also helped, because he was so excited that he almost swallow the microphone and shouting that this result is sensation. Italy 1990 WC was also big factor, because Paul Parker was QPR player then and he was absolutely amazing at that tournament. So because i live in abroad tv and that televised match certainly was the big reason why i started to support QPR

I have that game on VHS and watched it about a year ago. It was funny because I remembered we lost it 3-2.

                            QPR 2 Liverpool 0, Opening day, 1975. What a ####ing brilliant goal. What a ####ing brilliant day!
