Would be ok If we sign Krajcar for one year with reduced wage considering he wants out from Dynamo Kyiv. We can use him as a good sub.

Personally would not be against Niko as a squad player but I would rather work on Adel over him if it was a chocie

Is there some sort of legal requirement that every thread on here has to switch topic to Adel at the earliest opportunity?

Would Dynamo Kiev supporters be calling Nico a mercenary - I would imagine so

Fer and Vargas both look like excellent signings (though slightly worried if we end up bringing in too many loanees / players who only ever intend to be here for a year; hope we don't end up with another autumn situation where heads collectively drop as too many of the dressing room have no real investment in the future of the club).

Niko is a pretty lazy signing. Obviously he's classy, technically great etc. But he didn't really impose himself in the Championship at all and didn't really have much to show for his season (2 goals, 3 assists for a team at the right end of the table). Not sure why people think he'll do any better in a league where defenders are better, everyone is fitter, and he'll be even further off the pace.

But that's only 1.5 Harry Redknapp car door wheeler dealer triffic lad lazy former player signings this summer (Rio is the .5). I worried we would have a squad full of these types - Crouch, Defoe, Scott Parker etc - so overall I'm very pleased.

I notice fer is a penalty taker. That should come in handy.

To the bold: The loans of Isla and Vargas both have options to buy, so this is great business. It gives us the chance to review them for a year to see if it works, and then we can pay the fee at the end of the year and buy them if we wish. This is really clever business by the club imo. Removes a lot of risk.

Perhaps you're two dense to put 1 and 2 together but I'm a rare person on here who is positive about said fat friend.
